what you are doing wrong is that you put shaving cream on and your legs get cold and goose bumps come to surface on your legs and then you shave upward and that cuts off the little goose bumps and causes a rash....Thats your problem....solution: warm your legs with very warm water,to heat your legs up,then apply shaving cream, then when you shave start at the top of your les and go down, then keeping your legs warm put shave cream on and then shave with the razor from your ankle area up to get the fine hair...that will work,i use to get razor burn, but no more. You cannot shave your legs in a hurry, you will get razor burn everytime...Remember cold legs ,goose bumps.warm legs no goose bumps....Try it!

You may need to check the type of razor that your using and /or the shaving cream that you are using (if yu use any), next clean the area that you plan on shaving before you actually shave. When your finished wipe the area with alcohol.

I found the very best product for this! It is called BUMP STOPPER and is made for African American men. They really have the worst razor bumps (from shaving their face, silly!), and the products made for them just rock! I am totally serious! This is the only thing that has ever worked for me and I have tried everything. You can find it in the drug store or grocery store -- anywhere with shaving products. The clerk might look at you funny, but who cares?!

I wish I knew. I think some women are more prone to it than others. I've tried waxing, shaving, Nair, Epil-Stop, but nothing seems to work for me. My next step is laser hair removal. Good luck.

Try some other hair removal method, which may be more suitable.
