i do dance every spring
and it just started yesterday
and i woke up this morning
sore as hell
b/c i hadn't done the splits in a few months
and i hadn't done that many toe touches...EVER.

any way to get my legs to stop being sore faster??

Soreness is actually a good sign...you have taxed your muscles to their max. If you are sore you did a good job. Soreness is caused by stretching of ligaments tendons and muscle tissue.....I suggest take anti-inflamatories, and do pilates, you wont believe how building your core muscles with pilates will help overall performance, reduce soreness, weight loss, and super stretching.....try it...its great.

Soreness isn't a bad thing :) ... just means your doing it right ;) .... anyway... just keep doing it on a regular basis and advil really helps.. take some regularly during your dancing and soon enough you'll be back in shape! ... Good Luck

streatch! even if streatching hurts it will make you feel better afterwords..i promise! lol i did a round off 5 backhandsprings the other day at a basketball game and im sore all over!! good luck

No . Use regular exercise every day for best results or you'll be sore forever.
