Big Ben has been in a TON of movies. It's one of the major landmarks in London that most people in the rest of the world know. Any time they show London in a movie, it seems they have to show Tower Bridge and Big Ben.

National Lampoon's European Vacation..."look kids..there's big Ben!"

(He can't get off the roundabout and he keeps pointing out big ben for hours when they're going around in circles...pretty funny)
