1. Radio frequency (RF) waves are electromagnetic. That is their very nature.

2. To eliminate wires and make using various devices easier, more convenient and practical.

3. Benefits: It makes using devices easier and more convenient. Limitations: Signals can be disrupted by interference; less secure than wired systems; usually limited to short distances.

4. WiFi, the wireless system used for computer networks, uses frequencies in the 2.4 GHz range. The rest of this question is far too complex to answer here.

5. Wired systems can offer the same features as wireless systems, only with wires. Optical (such as infrared devices) also can do what wireless RF devices do.
