Well of course it can, back in 2004 when Friends ended people thought that reality TV the dominating the ratings but ABC went out with two great shows (and a third one shortly after) and proved everyone wrong. In 2006 NBC launched Heroes lots of people fell in love with... So yes, TV can always be better.

No! its going down hill....such as channel four trying to push online "on demand" tv....such as an episode of hollyoaks, online, it takes 30 min to download, plays on a computer screen, and costs £1.50 !!
Can you imagine a nights tv viewing, at £1.50 per program!
and having to wait 30 mins per 30 mins of tv?
and having to sit at a computer!
AND they'll be drm, so you cant keep/burn it!!!!!
Why bother?
And if youve got sky, well, this years television IS last years television, and the years before that, and the years before that...

Sorry but I don't think it will. I think they've all hit some kind of mental block when it comes to scripts and new ideas. Don't you just get fed up with cookery shows, DIY/renovation shows, reality shows and cosmetic surgery shows. Also the soaps all follow the same trends in their story lines. Its so boring and predictable these days. Thats why I spend most of my time on here with you guys... never a dull moment .... I thank you all.

It always can. It never will. Not as long as it must cater to an uneducated, lowest-common-denomninator audience. Don't blame the TV producers. Blame the audience.

No.
The reliance on 'reality' TV shows has become a joke.
They're boring, and the 'celebrities' are has-been tarts with nothing better to do.
