glass packs and exhaust tips?

my truck has dual exhaust out the back with glass packs straight out the back that are fully broke in, with no tips. my buddys say I should get some tips for it and make it sound better, I think it sounds good without em, I mean do exhaust tips do more than just show off your pipes?

If you own the truck and you like the sound why would you even care what your buddy thinks.

Not really. there are some that are engineered to make a noise like a whistle and a rattle and such but other than that they just look goofy, especially on a truck.
