The steps I took (but they failed are):
1-I went to the normal "start/settings/control panel/ad or remove"
option. From there I could not find the Yahoo messenger.
2-I then right clicked "Start" and "explore all users". From here, I
went to C drive/Program Files and STILL, could not find Yahoo
messenger. So, Where in the h...................ll is "yahoo messesnger" hiding on my computer? How can I UNINSTALL yahoo messenger? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I know! You almost got it but Yahoo Messenger is under another thing......Go to Start>Control Panel>Add Or Remove Programs. Look for AT&T Yahoo! Applications. Then click the "Change/Remove" button near it. You should get a pop up that says AT&T Yahoo Applications and lists all the programs under it. Check the box next to "SBC Yahoo Messenger" and there you have uninstalled YM. I have AT&T internet but if you have something else, in the add or remove programs look for that one. make useful mesenger has been completely exited out of previously you uninstall. Messenger journeys maximum folk up because of the fact clicking on the go can merely shrink to the device tray. So merely best-click on the icon in the device tray ( by potential of the clock) and choose go out, then attempt to uninstall
