Yikes! I guess this really IS a good question, if some of you don't know...

(By the way, take this on the authority of a Geography teacher.)

Russia is most definitely a nation on two continents--both Europe and Asia. Most of its land area is in Asia, but the vast majority of the population is in Europe. It is usually considered primarily a European nation because of this latter fact, a label given due to stronger cultural similarities of the Russian people to the rest of Europe.

Really, you could say that Europe and Asia, speaking purely in terms of physical geography should be one continent, not two--Eurasia. That at least one country straddles this land border (the Urals) is not surprising.

Please, people, know your facts before spouting off wrong answers with such assuredness. And I'm not certain that Risk is the most reliable source for geographic information in the world today. :-) Great game, though.

Russia does not belong to any particular continent. It is one of the few transcontinental countries in the world. By population most of the people live in European part and by area Asia can has the most of the part of Russia. That is why it is Eurasian country.
