If so, then why not?

Underwires can dig into the breast and cause clogged ducts which can lead to infection. also, your breast size will shift between and during each feeding, so it's better to have a bra that will support multiple cup sizes and allow stretch, which most underwires do not.

Your breasts may well larger then the underwire allows room for. It will be uncomfortable. Some nursing bras ARE underwire, I just ended up being poked real hard under my armpit

For some moms, underwire bras can contribute to problems with getting plugged ducts.

If you are nursing, then you wear a "nursing bra" which has a flap that pulls down so the baby can reach the breast. If those come with underwires ( and I don't if they do or not) then I don't know why you could not wear it.
