November 1963 . I was in 4th grade , doing my spelling when the Principle came in and announced that President Kennedy has just been shot . Our teacher started to cry and the whole room was silent , a few minutes later we were told to go home . I watched the TV all day and night , I even remember when Lee Harvey Oswald was shot , my Mom was fixing lunch and before the cameras were pulled away they showed Jack Ruby , I yelled Mum , some guy killed that guy that killed the president , she made me sit at the table , too much info for a 9 year old back then . Remember , black and white TV ,,, small screen ,,, that was like it was yesterday to me ...... I am now 53 ,,,, eww!

it was nov. 23 1963 please july in texas would have been oppresively hot for a convertable ride through dealey plaza
