I first saw them on Charlie from Lost. I went to the shoe store and bought some black-and-white checkered ones from the girls section... And I saw them in the all-girls magazines Alloy and Delia*s. But I only see guys wearing them! So, are they for guys AND girls?

They are unisex shoes. They have many many different styles and colors. I have a pair of pink/purple checkered ones. I know boys that have black/red and I have most definitely seen some with flowers and hearts and pink skulls. They make different styles for different genders but the black/white ones are totally unisex and hey, if they arent, they are still cool and really comfortable and no one is going to look at you funny if you wear them....be yourself and wear what YOU want to wear. Not the worlds opinion.....

They're for girls and guys. My friend wears them. Stand out and wear them as a girl, don't try to fit in so much.

Actually i ahave seen alot of guys and girls wearing those shoes i think they are for both male and female.

I would wear them, and I've seen guys wear them, too. I think they are for guys/gals who don't want to necessarily wear the usual "cool" footwear.
