Well there really is no way of us curing your turtle but the odds are a vet can I just brought my water dragon to the vet and it needed surgery the bill was expensive but it is a life yoyuu are talking about and everyone at the vet are usually really cool. It is worth the money knowing your animal is going to be OK it doesn't sound like a serious problem though so it will probably not be very expensive.

Does your turtle have a heat lamp? He could be acting sluggishly because the water temperature is cold. Purchase a UVB light (which can be found at a local petstore) and place a basking lamp with a regular household bulb above his tank. The UVB will help him produce vitamin D3, which will prevent him from becoming sicker, plus heat the water. The regular bulb will give off light and heat. Turtles need a water temp of around 80 to 85 degrees, so it's important to keep a thermometer in the water. Also, give him a basking sight. Another thing that will probably be really helpful is to place a fish aquarium heater in the tank and set it to around 80 degrees. Lastly, feed him foods that he will enjoy and are nutritious. Try feeder goldfish, turtle pellets, and fresh fruits/veggies coated with vitamin powder. He could be developing a lung infection, especially if his nose or eyes are runny. Keep the tank warm and well venelated. Place a few drops of water conditioner in and let it settle for about 30 minutes before placing him back in the tank. This will rid the water of chlorine and other harmful elements.

Well you don't give too many details, what kind of turtle is it?How old or young is it? I would say it is not a good sign if it has been days, of his eyes not opening and not eating at all. I would take him to the vet pronto! If you can't pay for it, then don't get it as cute as they all are and believe me, I KNOW!It can be expensive but you don't want your turtle to be sick and suffering so do the right thing and get care for it by a reptile specialist in veterinary care. Good luck!

Well if your sure he is still alive then turtn your heat lamp up so the basking erea can reach 90 degrees and check your water temp and make sure thats at about 72 degrees. Make sure you have a UVB/UVA light because they need the extra light output. Put your turtle close to directly under the heat light and let him warm up. My red eared sliders do this when I start to put them into hiberation.

Your turtle is probably suffering from several care-related issues. Check out the care sheets listed below to see if there is anything you can tweak.

As a guess, I'd say the tank is too small, the water is too cold, and the diet is off.

Call the vet and ask if they look at turtles and how much for an examination. It may be not feeling well and unresponsive, but not necessarily dead.

its totally normal....................do not worry
i had the same problem with one of my turties
it gradually gets used to the new environment
get him a new friend or talk with it(it will not respond ....but still)
if serious then only take him to the vet
this is the stage of the turties when they"ll feel a bit shy
or will keep on sleeping
infact mortality is quite high in these turles of this age
well i m sure it will survive
and do not ever think of money when a life is in danger
including animals
buh bye good luck!

if he doesnt move, i am very sorry, but you must pronounce him dead, if not, there is no other way, take him to the vet, he will give you eye drops. he might just not be able to see the food
