My husband works for Blockbuster and when they get a disc that is damaged, when no one has complained or noticed it before, they go straight to the last person who had it out and will charge you the cost of a used copy of the game and sell it to your account.
There is a test they do: Run your thumb nail across the surface (LIGHTLY!) and if it catches on any scratches then it is a no go and they wont take it but if not then your fine.

Yeah, everytime.
I used to work there, they would never know, they had to stop putting stickers on the disk, because it made the wobble inside the console - not good for the laser or the disk.
I did it myself a couple of times.
It also works if you have the fullscreen version of a movie and you want the widescreen, they try to only carry widescreen.

I just found out that if you buy a game at EB Games you can pay an extra $3 for a one year warrenty - they'll repalace your game with a new one if you damage it - Seems cheaper than renting and switching to me!

You sound like a jerk to me. Why would you do something like that to other people who rent the game and it messes up because it is all scratched up. Remember, what goes around, comes around. Other people will rent the scratched up game and will be upset when the game does not play right. Where is your morals, did your parents raise you and teach you what is right and wrong.

No they wont, just do it on the drop box, and they wont even notice. I've done it several times before.

my frind got a game cant rember wut its called but he had the first one and he rent the second one and put the first game in the second game case and got away with it, its becuz the game had the same name from blockbuster
