Zn+ HCl means there will be a single replacement occuring where the Zn(zinc) pushes out the H(Hydrogen) and combines with Cl(chlorine).

So Zn+ HCl = ZnCl +H
Zinc +HydroChloric acid = ZincChloride +Hydrogen

ZnCl= ZincChloride
