It seems that it won't read any silver backed disc. It still can read the blue backed one's. Whats wrong with it. It's only about 2 months old.

haha no im just jokin ur eye is messed u might need a new one or u might need to clean it in order to clean it u have to buy a disc that has a lil brush thingy u can get it at like a dollar store and if that dont work u prolly gotta replace the eye

There's a fault with those things because my husband's won't read most of our DVD's either. My cousin's is doing the same thing. But because your's is so new you need to get in contact with Sony...maybe they'll send you a new one.
