Im thinking of selling my 2 corn snakes. I havent a clue how much they are worthso does anyone out there know wot they are talking about with reptiles?
I have a 3 foot vivarium with glass sliding doors and a lock, all in excellent condition. Got a large water bowl and large cave, feeding tongs, heat mat, heat bulb and gauze.
The first snake is a normal corn, about 3 and a half foot long - male. And the second is an Amil corn snake, about 3 foot long and is female.
Both are very tame and feed well. How much do you think I could sell these for?

And any suggestions to where I can find a GOOD home for them?

just the snakes for around 50-60 but with the tank at the most around 150-200. put them on craigslist there are lots of offers like yours on there.I wouldn't count on getting much more because people don't know everything about the snakes, If I were you I would take them to a vet and get them checked out beforehand you will get much more when they have a good recent vet report.

I would love to have some snakes. I used to have 2 copperheads (male and female), they produced 9 babies together. I also had a diamondback rattler, and a timber rattler. I unfortunately sold them because I have small animals and am starting a family. I wouldn't mind getting more snakes, just can't afford to get posionous ones in my situation. You may also find a good home through your local vet clinic and pet store. You can also go to Petsmart and places like that.

They place dollar value on what color your corn snakes are, the camo black, black are cheaper where as your oranges and albino will bring more money. It also helps to know what the genotype of your snakes are, people will pay more money for female snakes that are genetically guaranteed to produce specific phenotypes.
