Zimbabwe still uses the Zimbabwe Dollar.
All banknotes dated before August 1, 2006 are no longer valid. On August 1, Zimbabwe introduced a 'new' dollar currency and one 'new' dollar equaled 1000 old dollars. This was intended to combat very high inflation, but thus far, it has not been successful. The official exhange rate is Zimbabwe $250 = US $1, but the parallel (free market) rate as of 5 January 2007 is approaching $3000 = US $1.
There is rampant speculation that Zimbabwe may remonetize again in the next few months, in a continuing effort to combat the world's highest inflation rate.

They uses dollars .same basically as ours but of different value.
Badly needed support from the IMF has been suspended because of the country's failure to meet budgetary goals. Inflation rose from an annual rate of 32% in 1998 to 133% at the end of 2004, while the exchange rate fell from 24 Zimbabwean dollars per US dollar to 6,200 in the same time period. The government's land reform program, characterized by chaos and violence, has badly damaged the commercial farming sector, the traditional source of exports and foreign exchange and the provider of 400,000 jobs.
Proverty level is above 70%
. Zimbabwe completely distroyed it's financial structure by stealing white farms and allowing their black occupation which was a diseaster for the entire country. white farmers were the backbone of the country and now it's broken and likely to never recover.
