*1* You could go to charity shops, table top sales, garage sales, etc but things dead cheap and sell for a profit on eBay. Just look at the type of things you can get and the prices, search for them on eBay and see what they go for. You soon get to learn what sells. Go for it!

*2* Babysit. Get your parents to ask their friends if they need a baby sitter.

*3* Do the chores around the home and ask your parents for cash in return. Also ask family and friends' parents. Ask your parents to ask their friends too.

*4* Sell drinks and cookies at local sporting events - maybe just weekend fayres or soemthing for a mark-up.

*5* Learn how to face paint and do it at fayres etc. It is easy to learn and the paints themselves are pretty cheap.

*6* Make handmade brithday cards and sell door-to-door in your neighbourhood - you might want to ask an older brother or sister or family adult to go with you.

Household chores for other people that you know - make a list of what you'll do and a charge for each, and pass it out to family friends and neighbors, and relatives (dusting and vacuuming - $5.00 for 3 rooms, dishes hand washed and dried - $5.00, floors swept and mopped $5.00 for 2 rms, leaves raked and bagged $20.00/yard, babysitting $5.00/hr 1st child, $2.50 hr each add. child, min. 2 hrs, errands ran to post office or grocery store or local pharmacy negotiable (let your parents help you with that one) Make sure you do a really good job, no matter how nasty and hard it may seem sometimes, and be polite and ask if there is anything that you missed. If so, go back and redo that portion at no cost. The word of mouth referrals are well worth going the extra mile for. Make sure that you let your parents know at all times where you will be, what you will be doing, and when you'll be back.

Baby-sit!! I earned $50 once! Baby-sitting for a long period of time really earns a lot of money.
