I don't think it's cheating...think of it like writing a book or a story.
You have this fantasy world that you like to enjoy and add to and change and play around with...cool

It is not cheating but as you "nurture an active fantasy" understand that the mind has an open window and the more you "nurture" the closer is your encounter to the real thing. So, do not be surprised if you find yourself doing what you would called " the unexpecting", your mind has been working long enough on it.

What are you referring to as "nurturing an active fantasy"? Anything that involves physical contact is cheating. Everyone has fantasies...that's normal. To act on those fantasies is cheating.

no it isn't cheating as long as it involves just yourself. think we have to have fantasies in life, they help us and can make us feel better especially in bad times.
