ok, i'm thirteen and i've had usual discharge (white/clear) for about 3 months now - but yesterday i woke up with stomach pains after i went pee and i wiped i noticed brown discharge and now it's in my underwear too! i don't know what it is, or what to do. i have never gotten my period yet and i've never had sex. can anyone help me? i'm so scared!!!!

Don't be scared, I think your period wants to start. When you are having normal periods it usually starts off light and brown then you start, usually will finish with brown also. So maybe any
month now you will start. Lower Stomach pains or light cramping happens before your period starts last for about 3 days. After it starts pains get lighter. Heating pad on your stomach will help with the pain. You need to talk to a lady doctor to confirm all this.
Sounds normal what you have. Stay warm and continue normal
routine. This will happen each month until you are 50. :)

Hey, congrats! You've just gotten your period! Don't be scared- just put in a pad since a tampon is too strong for the light flow you have on your first few periods. It's brown because its old blood, and usually the first day of your period is very light. Tell your mom or your guardian or older sister to help you out with pads and sanitary supplies. Welcome to womanhood =)

This is just a sign that your period will be coming soon.You need to prepare for that change.My daughter had the same but there was nothing wrong but Period coming.Anyway talk to you mum and ask her to take you to the doctor it may be something else.

It could be a number of things so you should see your doctor right away. Most women experience these type of things so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. It could be the natural breaking of your hymen, or you could be starting your period, which sounds more likely given your age.
Anyway, get it checked out just to be safe and try not to worry.

Brown discharge usually means it's old blood. Like a scab. Don't panic. Your next period will be fine. Use a tampon/pad as you usually do.

That is normal, you have just started your period. Sometimes it comes out that color at first for some girls. My one daughters did.

Yep sounds like you are getting your period...soemtimes when it 1st starts its real light like that and its a brownish color....u are just fine....

That sounds exactly like the start of your first period.
Congratulations and welcome to puberty. Now go tell your mother--make sure that's what's going on, and tell her you need supplies.
