We'll be bringing three boys 10, 7 and 5 to Charlotte in April to visit relatives. They've loved science museums, Lego Land, Disney World, small nature centers, swim parks/water slides - etc. Anyhow have any suggestions on what the guys might enjoy not too far from Charlotte?

Try the Paramount Carowinds amusement park. We are planning a trip there this summer. It has a Nickelodeon theme, so I'm sure your boys will like the Diego, Dora, SpongeBob theme. There are also water rides there. You might to check their website to see when they open. It is a season park, and is not open year round.
