Go to www.download.com And Type in Free MP3 Converter. The first one you find should be good enough.

I use a program called Switch. If you do a Yahoo search it'll come up. If your P in mp4 is refering to protected files then switch wont work. So don't even waste your time. You can get programs that will play the protected music and re-record them into MP3 format. That is the only things I know of.

Audio-only MP4 files generally have a M4A extension, you can use iTunes to convert them to MP3
