I saw something on TV once that tested peoples knowledge of the word...
A protest booth was set up with the slogan "End Women's Suffrage Now!" Many signed the petition thinking it was a protest to end women's "suffering".
Kinda tasteless, but admittedly funny.

The women's movement - it means the right to vote. However, it is also associated with the Civil Rights Movement as well.
