since years and years israel tried to take over lebanon,palestine,eygpt and many countries..israel kills palestines daily.do u kno that palestine is the only country in the world that is for muslims, christians and jews?is that a reason for israel to take over palestine and give people poor lands and make them suffer and lies in media and say that arabs are terrorists?is that why israel breakes UN laws and use illegal and radioactive weapons?dont u think that no organization would have existed in the middle east if israel hadnt invaded countries in the first place?is that what you call WE WANT PEACE?lebanon is a very week country nd for hundreds of years it has been for lebanese and no one else so dont tell us that jews lived in lebanon thousands of years ago..hizbolah existed because lebanses army had no strong weapons to defend lebanon.israel did many terrorist acts during the last war bt the media in the US never mensions it.hizbolah killed 150 israelis bt israel kiled1400 40%child.

ya but u cant make all arabs terrorists if few terrorist groups are terrorists..they are good and bad people in every country, but terrorists are mostly arabs but that doesnt make arabs and muslims terrorists.i love jews and i love muslims and i love christians u are my brothers and sister, but i dont think that israel can break laws and use illegal and radioactive weapons that will make a bad reputation of the state of israel.if the world wants peace, we should start that by making muslims and jews eqaul in israel.if israel cooperates, no more threatens will reach it. we should all be families, stop the wars!and please stop saying arabs are terrorists i live in lebanon, people here are very friendly and cooperative but the country is just passing into a sensitive time.

palestine is known for jews and muslims..israel has the right to divide the country into palestine and israel but that doesnt mean leave the palestinese in poor conditions and give them a smal part of the country while israel take almost 3/4 of the country.what do u expect palestine would do??sit there and relax??and by the way hizbollah doesnt hide among people and children..someone here said hizbollah fights where children plays..are u crazy??will there even be children playing in the battlefield??i live in lebanon theres a part of beirute(capital) which is called DAHYE, all people there are loyal to hizbollah so u cant just bomb the city saying that hizbollah are fighting there,and hizbollah fighters hide among buildings nd not civilians.israel cant bomb any place tht has a big occupation and say hizbolah was there u just cant live on this illusion.if israel bombed the UN and used illegal weapons on civilians,how the hel is it supposed to b a peaceful country?!its a terrorist state!

The reason for the conflict between Israel and the Arabs is that the Arabs, plain and simple, refuse to accept a Jewish state in their midst. They invented this whole idea of a "Palestinian people who deserve a state" just to use as a tool to dismember Israel.

Prior to partition, Palestinian Arabs did not view themselves as having a separate identity. When the First Congress of Muslim-Christian Associations met in Jerusalem in February 1919 to choose Palestinian representatives for the Paris Peace Conference, the following resolution was adopted:

"We consider Palestine as part of Arab Syria, as it has never been separated from it at any time. We are connected with it by national, religious, linguistic, natural, economic and geographical bonds.

"There is no such country as Palestine! 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria."

Arab violence against Jews has been going on long before there was an occupation, long before there was a refugee problem--indeed, long before there was a political Zionist movement. Need I present more painful examples? Perhaps even further back, where I hope everyone will agree that the Zionist movement did not yet come into being:

In the centuries after Muhammad there have been periods when the Jews were able to live in relative peace under Arabs, but their position was never secure. They were generally viewed with contempt by their Arab neighbors, and their survival was always predicated on their abject subordination and degradation to them. Mass murders of Jewish "protected people" started in Morocco as early as the eighth century, where Idris I wiped out whole communities. A century later Baghdad's Caliph al-Mutawakkil designated a yellow badge for Jews (setting a precedent that would be followed centuries later in Nazi Germany), and synagogues were destroyed throughout Mesopotamia in 854-859. In Tripolitania, Jews were considered the property of their Arab masters, who would bequeath the Jews to their heirs upon death. In the 12th century, after anti-Jewish riots, the contemporaries commented that their population had 'greatly declined.' ( Middle East Digest, September 1999)

As to how to solve the problem, the only way would be for Israel to have an overwhelming defeat of the Arabs and then dictate the terms for peace. Otherwise, the Arabs will never stop trying to destroy Israel.

Take over Egypt? Since when did Israel try to take over Egypt?
Lebanon? Well, they didn't take over Lebanon. In fact, the buffer zone that Israel occupied in the south strip of Lebanon was unilaterally withdrawn from, by Israel. Doesn't sound like a country intent on taking over Lebanon.

If you are worried about a foreign country taking over Lebanon, why don't you focus on Syria and those Iranian proxies, Hizbollah?

As to Palestine, there is no such country. Never was an independant state called that. There used to be a territory called that before 1948 that was part of the Birtish Empire, but since then, Palestine ceased to exist.

As you your assertion that "Palestine" is for peoples of all faiths which by that I assume you mean a Palestinian Authority controled authority, that is a total crock. One of the goals of such an authority is to make the land it controls as Jew free as possible (see Hamas and their charter).
Not only that, but they aren't too fond of Christians either (see what happened to the decline of the Christian population in Bethlehem).

And if you are curious as to what happened during the war in Lebanon war, I highly sgguest you see how often Hizbollah actually targeted something which can be even liberally described as a "miltary target". You'll find that 99% of the time the answer was "no". So don't give us this garbage regarding how many people killed on each side without providing any context.

But then again, I don't think you are interested in the truth.

Someone stated that leave Israel for the Jews?!?!?

The Middle East was always a hotbed of Islam then the UN (USA) decided to take Palestine and give to Israel for the Jews as compensation for WWII.

So essentially, Europeans stood by and appeased Hitler while he gassed Jews so instead of Europeans stepping in and giving a chunk of Germany for the Jews to call their own. THey decide to cause turmoil in the middle east and remove the palestinians and give their land to the Jews.

How would you people feel if someone came to your house and said since your parents disrespected me, I'm going to forcibly remove you from your own home and you'll have to deal with it.

Throughout history the Catholic church and Christianity has oppressed the Jewish peoples and Muslims have to pay for it?
Throughout history, Muslims have allowed people ALL religions to live in peace and harmony, while the Catholics in Europe were mass murdering people for refusing to convert. Jewland should have been somewhere in Europe, wehre they were gassed NOT in the Middle East, wehre they were kicked out thousands of years ago!!

Everything Israel has done is in self defense. If you want Israel to stop the other activities you mention, have the arabs stop trying to eliminate all the Jews. Very simple.

The answer is "yes". Both sides qualify as "terrorists" (There are no good guys) Then you get back to the question "who started it?" and view the balance of power, or the balance of terror. Basically, a side which is dramatically outgunned has some excuse for using unconventional methods, because in an orderly confrontation they are hopelessly overpowered. Next look at the incredible force of arms that the U.S. has supplied to the Mideast region over the years. ('we' are the main arms supplier to that tinderbox). Actually, I agree that we need cooperation from all sides if we ever want to see peace in the Middle east. Israel too, breaks the rules but, treating Isreal like a child once bullied, the US ignores any rules it may break today.
