Do you think the government is ttrying to cover something up or do you think there is a resonable explanation to it ?? also it was sighted on Jan 1, 2007... also that same day a plane came up missing heading to Indonesia with over 100 passenger's, what do you think about that ??? It's pretty spooky, I just wanted to get a few opinions on this matter... thanks

In a universe so vast, there is no way that we can be the only 'intelligent' life in existence. We are planning things like a manned Mars mission and in the distant future, we may travel beyond our solar system. So, it's only logical that if there are other beings out there they would have the same curiousity about life on other worlds, which leads them here.

It wasn't sighted on 1/1/07 - it was sighted four or five months ago. The report was sighted 1/1/07.
But in answer to your question, I think it's FUN! What's cooler than the idea that the ETs are on their way!
But having said that, it's also silly - I don't believe in intelligent mechanically adept life beyond our planet. Reference the Drake Equation.

More likely some kind of spy plane or military plane than anything else.
