I'm asking for trouble and I know it. If one of the hoses burst....
My hot & cold faucets for my washing machine are completely frozen open with lime deposits (mainly) and that green stuff that seems to accumulate on copper pipes due to moisture, maybe? Can anyone recommend a great product for cleaning it off without damage, or do I need to completely replace them?

The easiest thing to do is go to the hardware store and just buy new ones, the utility type for washer or garden hose are only a couple of dollars. If your plumbing is old, corroded and won't come apart, then take the water valve apart and immerse into pure white vinegar. I would put in a pot and warm up. The lime will disappear before your eyes and vinegar will not hurt anything if you spill some.

It's going to be faster and easier to shut off the water and install new ones. Bibcocks are less than 5 bucks these days. But if they're soldered on you should be able to take them apart and put in new innards. You can get these at the menards too for cheap.
