Midol, but if you drink a lot of water, like, the week or so before it's that time, it really really helps. I started to drink water every day (not 8 cups, but around 6 cups or so) and I found that it almost got rid of all my cramps. Cramps were how I used to know my period was coming, but since I started drinking water, they've gone away.

Keep up with your cycles on a calender. A week before you know your period is gonna start take a multi-vitamin it helps control the muscles and you wont cramp as bad. If you already started and you foget about the vitamins take some midol and a vitamin E pill.

Drink hot tea. Take Tylenol or some other over the counter drugs to take some of the pain away. I also read that "making love" is a great way to stop cramping during your period, but that's up to you.

Advil every six hours and warm compresses. Avoid caffeine as much as possible as this will make PMS worse. If your guy is into it sex will help stop the cramps as well.
