We are doing an experiment for a program that involves potassium dichromate, heavy metal ions, and bioremediation.

It seems like you are doing a program on Hazardous Wastes and Remediation --- so I suggest a catchy phrase as

'I AM SO WASTED!"

to refer to not only dealing with physical hazardous wastes but since it also affect the health of babies and the quality of life in general then - you become wassssttteed!!

You may start off with a teenager with a bottle of “whiskey” water tainted with dichromate or heavy metals causing mental retardation, then falling off on stage and lab personnel analyzing the bottle. Only to find out that the teen did not die from being “wasted” on alcohol but heavy metals instead.
Some one can call out with an analysis and declare it is not “whiskey” it is ……..heavy metals! I am sure you can pull this out. Enjoy.
