i have moved to spain and i have bought a spanish mobile but i still have my v3 and would like to use my spanish vodaphone card init but it is asking for an operator code but i have no idea what it is and have never heard of it before please help oh and its not stolen so stop asing me thanks

Is your phone a RAZR v3? Is Vodaphone the provider? So far, I have never heard of Vodaphone being a provider for Motorola. But it might be different in Spain.This is something that you might have to contact your provider's customer service about. They should give you the unlock code (there may be a fee). Or, you can buy unlock software that's compatable with your phone (they sell them on eBay).
The only downsides I know of an unlocked phone is that you can't send or receive picture messages (MMS), or get internet access.
