For the past ten years I've only worn footwear when it was truly too cold to go barefoot, and that doesn't happen often. The first winters I wore shoes a handful of times, just 'cause I didn't know quite as much about how to keep myself warm. Later I learned to dress up warmer than I normally would from the ankle up (legwarmers under my jeans, an extra t-shirt underneath my sweater, definitely wear a hat when it's freezing) and when I do that, my circulation keeps my toes warm even when it's well below freezing. I still take footwear along when it's really cold just in case I get stranded, but last time I needed that was in December 2004, for about 10-15 minutes or so, and since that time I haven't worn any shoes or slippers. I'm 38 years old.

Except for school and very cold days in the winter, I've always been barefoot as far back as I can remember. In high school I would wear shoes that I could slip off easily in class. Sometimes I would walk barefoot from class to class. I was barefoot all through college and when I could during my army days (8 years). Now unless my job requires me wear shoes I'm barefoot all the time. I work in an engineering office and the boss wants me to wear shoes for client walk-thrus. I keep a pair in my desk drawer for that purpose.
I get pedicures about every 2 weeks and wear toe rings. It seems to me that pretty feet don't get told to cover up as often.
I'm 36.

Everyday for ten years. I live in the desert.
I put on sandals if I have to go into the city.
Age? Too, too many years. I would like to subtract a couple of decades.
