Well, not nothing exactly, but I hope you still understand. My question making skills have suffered a little, I guess.

I'm reading The Shining right now, and I just scared myself silly with the noises that my harmless hamster made... I thought I heard a murderer with a weapon in his hands, walking to my door with the intent of killing me.
Ah, gotta love the imagination, eh?

Aaahhhh yes. As much as I hate to admit it. I was reading one of King's books way back in the day when it was almost brand new & it was in my first apartment after moving out of my parent's house.

I read it from cover to cover in one setting, morning into the very late night. I was spellbound & terrified & it was fantastic....right up until the lightbulb burst on the reading lamp beside me no sooner had I set the book down.

I shrieked like a little girl & came up off the sofa like a bullet....or a very hyper cat, landed six feet behind the divan and sank to my hands and knees before I realized that I'd been scared by a stupid blown bulb.

Then I cackled like a lunatic, cleaned up, went to bed...and made sure to turn on a night light for about a week until the vivid images in my mind began to fade to tolerable levels.

The books are far better than the movies & the mind is more than capable of providing excellent footage of frightening proportion.

Ahhhhh ... Stephan King, the best of the best!!

I think everyone's done that, more than once. My ex had bought me a small, fake, furry cat ... sleeping in a little wicker basket. When this thing detected sound, it would "purr" loudly.

Well, both of my sons were working ... I was reading "Pet Cemetery" ... and even though that da*n cat's batteries had been dead, for over a year, it started purring in a low, growling kinda voice. I wasn't making any noise to activate it ... I was reading!! It'd stop, then start again a few minutes later. lmao ... TOTALLY freaked me out!! *sob*

So yep ... I do that quite often. I've got a wild imagination.

BTW: Stephan King *is* Richard Bachman. Richard Bachman is Stephan King's pseudonym.

I'm reading The Shining too! Well I'm only on chapter 5, but you get my point.

I haven't made something out of nothing before... I have made something into nothing though!

You can make love or an enemy out of nothing.Anything you can hold in your hand can be used to defend yourself no matter what it is.All things of matter can be an extention of you and be used as a weapon for your protection, even water.
