She has such a great voice, why the hell did she not win?

Actually, when the cast of "Dreamgirls" was on the Oprah show a couple weeks back, Simon apologized to Jennifer via satellite. He added that when she starts winning all of these awards, he'd like her to thank him in her acceptance speech. Everybody else was as shocked as she was - lol.

I saw a clip of Simon on Oprah praising Hudson's performance. If you look real close near the bottom of the screen you will see the bowl of CROW Simon was dining on when he gave that answer.

as a finalist, cowell still makes money from her ai-related work, so the publicity will drive up more sales, and good ol simon will be struttin' all the way to the bank

He ought to feel like a squashed turd!
Jennifer can sing; she knows it and he should've recognized her talent the 1st time she opened her mouth!
If I were the American-Idol people, I'd be looking at replacing him with someone who's a little more 'talent-knowledgeable and talent-observant" and with a whole lot less smart-mouthiness!
