I currently sing. I write music lyrics. I also played the calrinet from grade school until 10th grade. I recently took a beginners piano class. I would really like to perfect my musical abilities...Where do I begin?

The best thing to do is play. Practice and using your skills for 15 minutes per day will get you further than just playing once a week or so.
Another thing you can do is buy a guitar. It is a good tool to learn music theory. You can go to the store (music or book store) and get a book on learning the guitar.
In many music stores, you can also find local people who teach theory, singing lessons, and other kinds of music lessons. Do some research and find someone who can give you some lessons.
Another thing to do is to find others who want to play and sing. You can "jam" with them. It helps to improve your abilities, and is a good way to meet others with similar interests.

First of all doing three at a time will get you confused. TRy perfecting one at a time and in no time you wil do good at all. if you want to try singing your lyrics and getting someone else to read them
