This question is also subjective.

How much money do you wish to spend for men's notions/lotions?

The way I do it, I go for the knock-offs, such as Cool Water by
Davidoff, at the department store you will pay $60.00 per
2.4 ounce bottle, or smaller in content.
I simply go to any of the discounted pharmacy retail outlets
and look for L'llusion's brand of colognes and after-shaves,
go to their retail aisle and select what I want, if that store carries a complete line of L'llusion's products.
You find the desired product and you will pay $7,00 to 9.00 for
a 3.7 fluid ounce container, see the difference?

Some of their product names (designer knock-offs) Red,
Eternity, Tommy, Aramis, others.

When I was younger, I used Aqua Velva, Old Spice (still good)
Aqua di Silva, others I don't remember.

Like I say, if you have wealth, and don't mind spending more
$$$$ for your shaving goods, buy designer products, but to my way of thinking, its a waste of time and money, all your buying
is flavored alcohol, with a bit of fragrance and some preservative.
Its the name that you are paying for.

Thats my message, good luck.

It depends if you are interested in fragrance or skin care. If it's skin care you should choose something that doesn't have alcohol and does have moisturizers.
If it's smell you are interested in go to a store where they have sample bottles and find something you like
