I can't get my webmic to work.?

It's plugged into right port, configured correctly, but the only time it registers my voice is when I put the microphone in my mouth!! Help please

make sure the mic voice is on high in the bottom right hand corner, in the volume settings for the mic

open your sound mixer or the speaker icon and turn up the mic! You might also see a 20db boost box in the advanced tab, check it! If you dont see the speaker icon in the task bar it can be found in programs, accessories, entertainment
