Is it because I am in fact, a panda bear, or is it because I am very unskilled at the application of cosmetics?

First of all I suggest investing in some waterproof mascara. Also, I think that you're probably applying too much eyeliner. Less is always more. I imagine that you want quite a dramatic effect from your mascara too, and are probably coating your lashes too many times. Invest in a good mascara like Clinique's high definition, or Lancome make very good ones. Then instead of coating the lashes from root to tip, only do it half way along to the tip, this stops them clogging up so much. Use a eyelash comb to sort out any excess too. A liquid eyeliner is very good if applied accurately, however, if you haven't got a steady hand use a kohl pencil. You can always make the outline with the pencil and go over it with liquid eyeliner. On your lower lashes, only put a very thin line of kohl pencil (don't use liquid eyeliner!!).

Remember less is always more. Depending on your eye colour and complexion, use a light-reflecting eye shadow, that brightens your eyes.

I think i know where you're going with this. If you use too much dark eye makeup and have fair skin, it tends to wash you out, so you have a light face and dark, dark eyes, like a panda. Just make sure you wear enough blush (not too much!) to keep your color, and maybe tone down the black eyeliner. I use black or dark brown eyeshadow and apply it as a liner with a small brush. This gives a smokey effect without the stark contrast of using eyeliner.

Maybe you are putting too much make up on. I have many tips for eyeliner and eye shadow on.
The fact is that if you put eyeliner on the top eye then you have to close the eye you are putting eyeliner on and stretch it with your finger and very slowly and confidently put a thin line of eyeliner, wet eyeliner with a thin paintbrush type is the best because it's easier. When you do the bottom eye pull down with your finger underneath it and on the wet bit put a thin line. But if you are using eye shadow then go from dark to light which is bottom to top and remember be subtle. Good luck

Less eyemake up. Try using a lighter eyeshadow and very little underneath the eye. Don't use eyeliner all around the eye.

Don't emphasise the lips too much, try a light shade a a touch of gloss in the middle of the lips, very sexy..

Ok.

I Think Im good at this.

Use the Concealing Loose Powder under your eye before you applay the makeup ( eye makeup) .

After you're done with applaying the eye makeup, wipe the Concealing Loose Powder away.

YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A PANDA EYES AGAIN

you can find loose powder in any MAC store .

GOODLUCK :)

Unskilled. You can go to a makeup counter at Belk or Dillard's and they will show you how to properly put on makeup. You could also ask for an Avon or Mary Kay representative on their websites, and they could help you as well. Why not try?

I think that you have big eyes so if you put dark makeup onyour eyelids this makes the effect of panda. Try soft colours on your eyelids, maybe then effect will be better.

You are just probably putting on too much - remember, the idea of makeup is to enhance your features. Less is always better. If you are in a city, even a small one, go to a cosmetics dept. and they are very helpful, may even get a makeover.

You may be using the wrong types of makeups and colors for your skin and hair types.

You can go to a department store and the people in the makeup department will help you. You may want to invest in a makeup job with a professional makeup artist who will teach you to do you makeup properly.
