A culture that approves of its use.. (although I think I'm only really referring to Class A stuff here) there are probably some that initially get a thrill from taking drugs because they're illegal - rules are meant to be broken and all that.. but if you have a culture that approves of it, those who are usually law abiding may be encouraged to dabble in something they may not have before, hence making it a bigger problem. I know a lot of people who take drugs recreationally, but because its for a 'social' purpose and not to feed a habit, this supposedly makes it better. If people want to take drugs its their choice, but whether its for recreational purposes or medicinal use or because you're a raving junkie its still illegal!

Depends on the drug. Some countries get riduclus with what they call illegal drugs. The bigger problem I believe is the countries that allow for serious drugs that are harmful to their people.
Then again what is harmful? Caffine and Liquer are drugs that are both dangerous and most countries allow for both. Both are linked to repeated deaths connected with various types of cancer.
Over the counter drugs are often found out to have side affects that are very unhealthy for the individual that is taking it. Take a look at all the warning labels!
We need to come to a new understanding of what is a bad drug or a good drug and as with everything else when it comes to the human body it will depend on indivdual experiences with it.

the two subjects could be defined as "style of the week". i grew to become into in extreme college interior the eighty's , so I remember while the "conflict on drugs" and all it somewhat is propaganda grew to become into pounded into our skulls.drugs are certainly a issue in our usa , however the business enterprise made a mountain out of a mole-hill. Many informal drug clientele (who could in any different case no longer be a "risk" to society) have been sent to penal complex , or maybe detention center.loads of those self same individuals now have a no longer common time getting jobs , drivers licenses , employer licenses , and so on. with the aid of fact of a criminal checklist. unlawful immigration , on the different hand , is a real issue. yet our elected officers are doing SQUAT approximately it! thousands and thousands of taxpayer's money are being spent on wellbeing care , preparation , nutrition stamps , lease suggestions , and so on. for individuals who have not gained criminal get entry to into our society. maximum unlawful immigrants are good regulation abiding , no longer common working human beings , yet that doesn't exchange the undeniable fact that they are right here ILLEGALLY! it somewhat is a toss-up.Which issue is worse? drugs or unlawful immigration? the two are costing taxpayers infinite money. i in my opinion think of that the government ought to give up dropping it somewhat is time (and our money) imposing a dropping conflict on drugs , and enforce a application that ensures that immigrants are right here legally.

Drugs are only illegal because big brother doesn't know how to tax it yet. Most illegal "drugs" can do more for people then the legal "Drugs"...so you can't just clump it into one catagory and ask what is worst.
