No, conception happens when sperm is allowed to enter the vagina, swims into the uterus and fallopian tubes, and manages to fertilize an egg, which then attaches to the uterine lining, and develops into a fetus.

This event can happen any time you have intercourse, although he likelihood of an egg being around to fertilize, and the condition of the uterine lining has a lot to do with whether it actually happens or not.

yep! 14 days after the begining of your period. this is when the egg is released. it can be slightly different in some people though so I would suggest ovulation tests to find out for sure.
