I volunteer at a daycare center in Costa Rica and I need to find activities for the kids to do. I wanted to find masks that I could print out and have the kids color in. Any suggestions? I was thinking animals or something along that line. I've found a few sites but the masks are all pretty bad quality. Any suggestions of other sites as well as other activities?

I found this
http://www.michigan.gov/hal/0,1607,7-160-17447_26038_31186-84808--,00.html
If you read the directions it gives you links to print out the masks.
And this one is great

They also have lots of other crafts besides the masks for little ones http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/

You know, you could take plain paper plates, cut out a semi-circle from the bottom about 5 inches across to show their own mouth and that would give you the potential for an animal with plumage or a mane. Let the kids make their own faces. Cutting out shapes for eyes and punching holes on the sides and tying ribbon through would give you a mask. What you could do is have the kids make up their own kind of make-believe animals, or if they could be any kind of animal, what they would like to be. I have done children's workshops for a living, so if you every want ideas, please email me. Good luck to you.
