They are still on my ipod. i just dont have them on my computer

Do you mean moving them FROM the I-Pod back TO the computer? Because unless you've updated the I-Pod with the files deleted, they might still exist on your I-Pod.
The thing to do is make sure your I-Tunes will not auto-update your I-Pod. Then, hook up your I-Pod with the USB cable. Instead of using I-Tunes to sync with the I-Pod, go through "My Computer" and use the I-Pod as storage device (which is really what it is), and just use Windows to copy the necessary files to the appropriate folder(s) on your hard drive.
