If you have the DVD you need a program that can rip the files. Look for dvd ripper at http://www.download.com.
While you're there you'll want to download Any Video Converter to convert the file for you iPod

yes you can do this. you can put your DVD's on your ipod but they must be in the right format. to do this you need to buy a converter which costs about $14. these are available on the net.

This works so well, it takes time to do the first step once you downloaded the software, bc ripping the disc takes time but the whole thing this best answerer said works great and it's all free!

first u need to find a website that lets you download movies onto your hardrive for free...
Then you open it on y9ur movie player andn click file copy to portable device and plug your ipo dinto comp with usb and download
