From the stupid submission style. You know, the one where you have to rapidly mash the buttons in order to make him submit. Case in point, I always play on Legend and I was Shawn Michaels taking on Kurt Angle in a Ultimate Submission Match. I beat that punk so bad and put him in the Sharpshooter so many times but I still couldn't make him tap. Yet he locks me in the Ankle Lock and I'm done. I got a blister on my thumb from it last night. I hate it!

Ok eassy way to beat that , just to go on with the story line , before the match when it goes to the screen that gives you the option for multiplayer , go to it and put controller 2 as kurt and you as player one and he wont do anything , kick the crap outta him , plus i played that as cena and i actually fought the guy in legend and the stfu works great

Don't know if this is in 2007 but I like that submission where you tap it at a gentle pace and the opponent has to stop it on a little bar. its easier to make them tap

i press the back buttons like R and L or i use my palm for the other buttons because it always hurts my thumb too

thats the point of making it difficulty because you have to go fater and faster every time you make it harder.
