Yes, but the process of removing you from the rental may take longer. The eviction process takes some time. Therefore, some landlords will start the eviction process as soon a a rent payment is late. This allows them to get you out as soon as possible.

NO way !!
At least in Cali, you have to be 60 days behind on your rent before a "pay or quit" (eviction) notice can even be filed.
I guess it depends what state you are in and what your rental agreement (that you signed) says.

You can be evicted if you are 5 minutes late, but it seldom happens because it can take months to evict someone!

Don't listen to them, NO U CAN'T, there is a proper procedure for doing that...don't worry pay it you'll be fine. But when you are applying for another apartment they can contact your previous landlord for rental history or even when your buying a house!

In Michigan they have to send you a seven day notice and if you pay within that seven days then you are ok.
