Yes, first they canceled a big order of cod. Secondly, they are planning to hold a big chess tournament and they aren't going to be inviting Bobby. Finally, if those two sanctions don't work, they will plan an invasion.

for what purpose? fischer is only one man, you're talking about two populations of over several million people being punished for what one man's opinion is. that is just a stupid idea. now, if were a nation which was actively against israel, it would be another matter, and only if the other nation acted, rather than voice an unofficial opinion. many people are anti-semitic, even in this country, but they aren't being punished. again, it would serve no purpose.
look at lebanon. the government tries to work within diplomatic channels to work with israel, but hamas, a self-proclaimed anti-israel terror group acts against israel and is militarily assaulted when they do so.
