My son avoids taking care of things that digs him into a hole. Like ignoring a traffic ticket because he did not get a notice of failure to show in court mailed to him, after due date of ticket. It is like he relies on false hope that ticket got lost in the shuffle or he will be able to talk himself out of it when thd sh-t hits the fan. In the past I have been guilty of that too. But, now I know that if I bite the bullit and do the difficult stuff things do not get worse but get even better. My son's ticket double from a $120 to $240. He does this much in his life. I used to also.

actually, the easy way in this case would of been to pay the ticket on time, and so life would of been easier
the hard way was to ignore it, though it might of seemed easy at the time,,,
so its really learning to know what is deep down the easy or hard way,,,,,,,easy way usually makes for an easier life,,,,,,, hard way hard ,,,,

If people used logic, they'd realize what the easy way actually is, and it's not what gets you into more trouble.
