is it true optical mouse is harmful?

well,is it true,guys?i read it from a newspaper saying that optical mouse spread radiation HIGHER than the mobile phone and big company has started back using 'roll ball' mouse..so should we stop using it?

The only harm an optical mouse can do is burn your retina if you look into the laser diode. In other words, the only radiation coming out is light.

mmmmmmm. well if it was in the news, it should be true unless the newspaper is wrong... anyway i think we should stop using it..

not true. It's not even a laser, it's a red LED
