Try dabbing vinegar on it or put some honey on it. Honey is a natural antibiotic. Or you can try Vicks, my mom always says that Vicks helps everything. Good Luck.

I'm a medication girl and observe in usual course therapies. In case you have a clove of garlic (crush it as small as that you would be able to, place it on a tissue and place it in your cold sore - like a band aide before going to sleep at night) what this does is normal absorb the toxins from the micro organism and traditional drains the infected subject. I do caution you, it does burn some when you first situation it on there, that is a signal that it is working safely. Additionally you probably have lemon juice (concentrated or typical lemon) doing the same thing as above, will also begin drying it out in order that it'll scab, then finally fall off. Most cold sores final up to 7 days. If you use any creams in that subject of the face or have a high food regimen of acid, try to stop that for a little, as the extra caffeine in the weight loss plan and chocolate will extend the therapy system. These also can surface from stress and hormone off balance.

Brew strong black tea. PG Tips is good or Tetley. Then ring out the tea bag and apply it (while it's still pretty hot) to your sore. The tanic acid in the tea helps to heal the sore. I recently tried Burt's Bees Blemish stick (accidentally) to my sore (I had a pimple above it). It stung like nobody's business, but it seemed to really clear up fast! I might try that if I ever get a winter cold as bad as this last one, but, again, it REALLY stung!

I dont know how to make it go away once its all out but once you realize your lips are cracking or starting to get a sore, use medicated chap stick like its going out of style, wash your hands alot and try to avoid touching your mouth or putting anything up to it,even,*that*. Since I started doing this,a cold sore has not come out all the way.

Get a lot of vitamin c. Orange juice and soup is really good. Also try not to do a lot of exercise today, and try to rest.
