Are they afraid of another northern beatdown?

I'm talking about the beatdown SEC teams get whenever they leave the south. The last time the Gators went North they got beatdown by Syracuse 38-21!

Last time Auburn played Syracuse, who lost? That's right, Syracuse. What teams have the best records for the past three years? USC, Texas, and Auburn. Who's in the National Championship Game? Florida. Who has NINE teams in bowl games? The SEC. Who has FIVE wins this bowl season? The SEC. You, my friend, are ignorant and biased, and I'm going to report you for your pathetic attempt at an insult. Good day.

Unlike the Big 10, the SEC has plenty of good teams to compete against while the Buckeyes didn't even play all the top teams in their conference. Exactly what beatdown are you talking about?
