Detail to last question - my ex suggested plan we have now- i kept house and kids, she comes to house while I work M-F. She came up with this as she planned to remarry as soon as our divorce was final over 2 yrs ago, but her married boyfriend dumped her after we filed our agreement. She thought she'd get to see kids M-F, until such time as she and boyfriend could afford sufficient house. She basically gave me custody to be with this guy. Time is running out financially, so she will now try to make me appear an unfit dad in hopes of getting fulll custody/full child support, hoping to use funds to pay for house and her expenses (she refuses to get a job). She has told me as much. She got a significant settlement, but most likely has blown it all. When I said any suggestions on how to appease her, was looking for any ideas given she is desperate. Tall order I know.

like what everyone else said get a good lawyer also a friend of mine when he went to court kept all the records of when and what time you call your kids if you do it on your cell phone it will be on your bill even if it is covered by minutes and receipts for everything and anything you buy them and take pictures. when you guys go to the movies ask for a receipt you go to McDonald's get a receipt go to the doctor a receipt this not only shows you take care of their needs it all so show that you spend time with them and are seeing them on a regular basis so if she clams you don't them you have proof and you also have pictures to back them up asking people hey can ou take a picture of me and my kids standing out side the movies it will help the judge out alot to damage her creditability and also if she is capable of working and you guys don't have a very small baby and your willing to help with childcare expenses they will make her work so good luck!

you have an advantage because you have custody.
don't do drugs or anything she can use to prove you unfit.
just don't do it and she can't prove it.
forget about her trying to get money. or why she left you.
make sure you are an impeccable dad.
and stop letting her in your house. because if you
are depending on her that's a problem. you should be providing your own day care. make sure it is good quality.
you are too wrapped up in old baggage not focusing on
the real problem now. which is that you have to make
sure any reasonable person would see you as a good, fit parent.

If the court awarded you custody, she will have a difficult time proving she is a fit mother. The court does not like to remove children from a home where they are thriving. Talk with your attorney and document everything!

I sure hope you have a good lawyer. It's important to document everything that happens. Buy a notebook and write everything down. Judges like to have documentation to back up their decisions.
Your ex sounds very controlling. She should get off her lazy @ss and get a job. She's as responsible for these kids as you are. Good luck!
