How much has Canada saved,over the years?

by not being a military might,and who's stopping their terror threats.....

they are so poor Quebec wants to succeed because they cant afford to take care of their people. so they havent saved anything.

It isn't a question of how much we've saved....we simply cannot afford to arm a military on a large scale. Tax money is spent on healthcare (free to all Canadians) and an excellent education system. The choice was made to focus our $$ at home, with our own citizens.

Canada is, however, still has very active presence in the intelligence industry - and have worked internationally through the RCMP.

As far as who is stopping the terrorist threats...we have been able to thwart any attempts...thus far...with the international intelligence community.

I don't want to presume where you are going with this question...but wondering if it was a 'shot' at Canada for sitting back and letting the US protect us. If thats the case...please know that isn't so.

I don't know.There is somthing to be said for the fact that no one wants to blow them up,however,evil exist and someone has to act as a counter to the Ahmadinejads of the world.

They have Big Brother to the south, why bother? Besides, Quebec can't fight, they're mostly frogs. We all know from WWII and Viet Nam, that frogs are allergic to self preservation.

there is not a whole lot to canada is there? isn't most of it a frozen tundra similar to siberia? not much life? don't get me wrong, canada's cool. i wish in some ways we were more like them.
